Season 1
First
seen in episode 20, War Zone. Gunn heads up a
street gang, who found themselves in a turf war
with a next of vampires. While investigating an
unrelated case, Angel has a run in with the gang
and decides to try to help them get rid of the
vamps. The kids don't trust him, he's a vampire,
why should they? But Gunn isn't sure. He accepts
Angel's help, and when Angel asks for his help in
return, he agrees. Gunn watches over Cordelia and
Wesley while they are in hospital, during the
season finale, To Shanshu in LA.
