mutual friend, and was the inspiration for the
character he now plays. He was a club singer,
inspired by Patti LaBelle, amongst others. |

Angel
Season 2
The
Host, as he is known, is a friendly demon who
runs a 'demon' karaoke bar. He can read a
'persons' future when they sing. His bar, called
Caritas, latin for 'love of humanity' or
'charity', is a nexus where demons and people are
not allowed to be violent, not allowed to fight
or kill each other. In order to help with his
'quest' Angel eventually gives in and sings at
the bar.
The
Host has a recurring role in the lives of the
Angel Investigations team, and eventually they
discover a bit more than they had bargained for
about their mysterious green friend when they end
up in his home dimension of Pylea.
