(was) the new series by X-Files creator Chris
Carter, and is based on a comic book series of

Lt.
Thomas Hobbes takes on one final mission before
leaving the army to marry his sweetheart Sophie.
But nothing is quite as it seems...he is plunged
into an alternate reality to 'take out' a man
called Santiago. Hobbes makes an alliance with
one of the Realm's long term inhabitants, Mike
Pinocchio. It is an uneasy partnership.....and
Pinocchio has his own agenda.

Realm is due to air in the US sometime in October
99, but whether it will ever reach British
shores....who knows? I hope so.......

Realm has been axed....how could they....after
only three episodes aired, and only eight
made....will DB Sweeney fans ever seen him on the
small screen again...sob..sob....please someone
find him a good TV show, that won't get
axed...(as apposed to the good shows he's done
that have been axed)!

It
appears that Fox has allowed FX, a sister
channel, to air all eight episodes, and there is
the possibility of completing the series... but
who knows... I guess we'll just have to wait and
see!
