 Season 1
Michael
is a bit of a misfit at Roswell High. He keeps to
himself and only has Max and Isobel Evans as
friends. Things are going just fine for him,
until Max saves Liz Parker's life. Michael, Max,
and Isobel are different. They have special
powers, unearthly powers.
When
Liz realises what Max is, she shares her secret
with her best friend, Maria DeLuca. Maria freaks
everytime one of the 'aliens' is nearby, which
annoys Michael, and he plays on this. At one
stage he kidnaps Maria, he needs to borrow her
car, and the chemistry starts to show. Michael
slowly falls for the sometimes eccentric and
wacky Maria.
Although
the chemistry is there, Michael is unsure about
making any kind of commitment, especially with a
human, and his relationship with Maria is very
'on again' 'off again'.
Michael
also displays some risky impatience, and a lack
of control over his powers, getting himself into
some tricky situations. He begins to focus more
when the fourth alien, Tess, arrives and starts
to coach him.
